We are very fortunate to not live far from Marwell Zoo. Put the trip off from Monday as it was very rainy. However, given the queue to the carpark and to pay I think everyone else had the same thought.
A good time was had though, we saw a lot and enjoyed the walk round together. There was a shortage of animals compared to our previous visits and a fair few things were temporarily shut so we wondered if there were some new improvements to come perhaps?
My favourites are the giraffes and penguins. So a good day had by all. A big bonus was no crying or stompy children. Usually one of them has a moment when we are out but none of them did I was so impressed with all of them considering how busy it was there today.
